How to solve the short shot issue during injection molding issue?
Description for the short shot defect of injection molding:
process is not completed because the cavity is not filled plastic or the injection molding process have the lack of the certain details.
Reasons for short shot injection molding process problem that may occur by following:
1, Injection molding speed is not enough
2, The shortage of injection molding plastic.
3, Screw of injection machine at then end of the trip did not leave screw litter.
4, Run time
5, Injection cylinder temperature is too low
6, Injection molding pressure is not enough
7, Injection nozzle partially blocked
8, The heater of injection nozzle or injection cylinder can not be worked
9, Injection time is too short
10, Plastic attached to the hopper throat of injection machine
11, Injection volume is too small
12, Injection mold temperature too low
13, Did not clean up the anti-rust oil to a clean
Remedy for above injection short shot issue:
1, Increase injection molding speed
2, Check the amount of plastic in the injection machine hopper
3, Check whether the correct set of injection stroke
4, Check the check valve for wear or cracks
5, Check operation of stable
6, Increase the melt temperature
7, Increase back pressure
8, Increase injection molding speed
9,Check the injection nozzle hole there is no foreign matter or un-plasticized plastics
10,Check all the outer layer of the heater use ammeter test energy output is correct
11,Increase the screw forward time
12,Increase the cooling capacity of the hopper throat area,or lower the temperature of the injection cylinder zone
13,With a large injection molding machine
14,Increase the mold temperature
15,Clean the rust inhibitor in the mold
16,Check or replace the backstop ring
